Innovator Awards recipient Samantha Asprelli, DMSB’26, gives ‘women in need the chance to feel confident, beautiful’ with beauty product kits on Valentine’s Day
Partnering with Northeastern’s Alliance of Civically Engaged Students, Asprelli organized the preparation of 1,000 beauty product kits valued in total at $200,000. These kits will be distributed to 10 organizations serving women in need across Boston and beyond.
Northeastern Huskies celebrate third straight Women’s Beanpot title, 20th overall before record TD Garden crowd
The Huskies won the women’s championship for the third straight year and 20th time overall, shutting out Boston University before 13,279 fans at TD Garden. The crowd was the largest to ever watch a women’s hockey game in New England—breaking last year’s Women’s Beanpot record of 10,633—and the fifth largest in women’s college hockey history.
